Congratulations To Our New CNA Graduates/ New CNA Class Information

February 3, 2016

CNA_logo-mdOn Monday October, 5th, our latest class of 7 CNA trainees graduated from the program. We celebrated with them during a graduation ceremony the next day, where they were able to be recognized in front of their friends and family and presented with a certificate and a gift from Bridgewater. They were generous enough to provide their instructor, Kris Campbell, with a gift of their own. This is the 9th class that has gone through the program since our first class matriculated in January 2014. We are so proud of our graduates and we can not wait to embrace them into the Bridgewater family! These graduates recently took their exams and are ready to begin working in their new positions! Congratulations again for all you have earned!

The next CNA training class will begin on Monday October 19th. This class will consist of eight trainees and will be held in our new lab and classroom space. We are very excited for this transition and believe it will greatly improve our ability to train this next class of CNAs.

We are currently accepting applications for our 11th CNA class, which will begin in early December. Applications for this class will be accepted until mid-November, when applicants will be chosen to interview for the eight open spots. We routinely receive over 200 applicants per eight student class, so the process is very competitive. If you have applied in the past and were asked to interview, but were not accepted into the program, we encourage you to apply again. It is not guaranteed that you will get in the second time, but it is possible. If you have applied and have not heard back, please do not call to inquire about your application. If you have been chosen for an interview, you will be called. If you are not called, you were not selected. Calling repeatedly may actually worsen your chances of being interviewed.

In order to be considered for a position, applicants must fill out a Bridgewater application and indicate interest in the CNA class. Applications can be found at the front desk and on the website under “Careers.” Candidates must have a high school diploma or a GED. Some college is preferred, as is some experience in healthcare.

If you have any further questions about how to apply, please contact the Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing front desk.

We look forward to receiving your application!
